hehe, i wrote this neat little poem to encourage a nice friend of mine who sounded like she was in need of encouragement! i didn't plan to write a poem... but somehow the words just came to my mind like there was nothing to it. just poof, a few random thoughts and the words strung themselves together so nicely in my head, while i was humming to myself in the shower! haha it's really quite cool (: almost like a God-sent piece of encouragement (:

and well, i thought that since it cheered someone up so considerably, why not share it with other people too! after all, it made me smile to myself too, when i read the whole thing again (: hopefully it'll serve as an encouragement to others as well! :D


Say a prayer when you need a friend,
Your best one's on the other end.

In all your trouble He'll lend a hand
So 'neath it all you still can stand.

Some things we may not comprehend,
But in His mind it's all been planned.

How blessed we are to have a friend
Whose love for us knows no end!


see now nicely the first and last couplets have the same rhyming words? like there's a cyclical nature to the whole thing, and shows how the whole thing has a sense of continuity and always stays true! and just as in literature, that was not intentional, but it's sometimes just cool how it all works out that way anyway (:
